The Charred Collection

Collection of wooden objects that draws inspiration from one of the most powerful natural phenomena in our world, which is getting out of hand. Today, the percentage of wildfires is lower than those caused by humans. The giant fires, which rapidly devour the forests and resumes, leave behind a slightly surreal landscape of burnt and black forest.
Out of interest in this show was created the desire to preserve the unique aesthetic of the burnt wood and to express the feelings and questions it raises as raw material. The same scorched aesthetic combined with everyday objects, on the one hand, serves as a means of confrontation with the situation we have created and its ecological consequences, and on the other, as a visual echo of the magnitude of the fire and its visual effects that may be born due to the rise in world fires.
